A panda, also known as the giant panda, is a bear native to China. They are known for their distinctive black and white fur, with black patches around their eyes and on their limbs. Pandas are herbivores and mainly eat bamboo, although they also consume other plants and occasionally small animals. They have a unique thumb-like extension on their front paws which they use to grasp bamboo and other objects.
